Introduction

At Corby Hospitality we take delivery to our customers very seriously.  We understand that our customers not only demand quality products at the cheapest Internet prices, but that they also want their purchases to be delivered safely, cheaply and as efficiently as possible.

We therefore employ two delivery methods:

  • For orders of a standard size or weighing less than 20kg - Quality NEXT DAY Courier Services such as Fed Ex, UPS, DHL or Interlink.
  • For larger or heavier orders - our team of affiliated PROFESSIONAL DELIVERY specialists.

Next Day Courier Service

Items to which this service applies:  For orders of a standard size or weighing less than 20kg.

Most courier deliveries will be NEXT DAY to most of mainland UK if your order is received before 11.30 AM, Monday to Thursday.  NEXT Day delivery to the more remote parts of the UK (such as postcode districts AB, PH, IV etc.) and Northern Ireland, however, can take up to 2 to 3 days.

General Exceptions: Standard NEXT DAY orders taken before 11.30 AM on Friday will normally be delivered the following Monday.  NEXT DAY orders placed on late Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be delivered the following Tuesday. NEXT DAY orders placed just before or on Bank Holidays will also be similarly delayed.  For example, for Good Friday/Easter Monday orders placed after Wednesday 11:30 hrs will not be delivered until the following Wednesday.

Postal Deliveries: Many spare items are sent via post.  Therefore, it is emphasised that due to the nature of this delivery method, unfortunately we cannot always guarantee next day delivery for such products.     

Professional Delivery Service

Items to which this service applies: Any order over 20kg in weight or too large

When you first place your order our Delivery Team will decide the most suitable form of delivery.  Your order will then be allocated usually within 24 hours.  Information about your order will then be passed to the carrier who will ring you to arrange a delivery date.  For Mainland UK deliveries only, on the actual day of delivery the driver will ring you before they set off to let you know whether they will arrive in the morning or afternoon.  They will also provide you with a delivery slot of approximately three hours.  They will then ring you approximately one hour before they actually arrive at your premises, so if you have provided a mobile telephone number you do not have to wait in.

We recommend that you clear a suitable space before the delivery is made.  However, we do not recommend that you attempt to assist the courier in carrying the product in order to protect your personal safety and to prevent damage to your property.  Please note that it is in your own interest to personally inspect the delivery when it has arrived to avoid later disappointment if there are any marks or damage.  The driver will finally ask you to sign that you have inspected your goods and are happy with what you have received.  We ask that you keep the original packaging for 7 days in case you need to replace or return the product.  This is because we require any product being returned to be in its original packaging.  Please note: Any damages must be reported within 7 days of the delivery date.  If your products are unsuitable in any other way, this must be reported within 7 days. 

Cost:

For orders below the value of £500.00 Ex VAT, a small order charge of £6.00 Ex VAT will be payable for delivery.

For orders above the value of £500.00 Ex VAT, delivery will be FREE of charge.

Areas to which we offer delivery for an additional charge: Areas which are not Mainland UK destinations including the Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Inner and Outer Hebrides, Orkneys, Shetland and the Republic of Ireland will be subject to an additional delivery charge.  However, should you prefer, we would be more than happy to deliver your order to a Mainland UK destination for you to then arrange further shipping from.

Delivery Schedule: For Mainland UK we aim to deliver your goods usually within 14 days.  Normally, delivery will be sooner than this, but to compensate for busy periods we set this as our general target. Please note that once you have placed your order you will be contacted by our delivery team with a firm date for delivery, normally within the above targets.  If you are unhappy with your allotted date, please contact our Customer Support Team who will try their best to accommodate your specific requirements.
